The Protest pig is a strain of pig. It’s also known by a few other titles like Protest pig, German: Husumer Protestschwein and Danish: Husum protestsvin or Danske protestsvin.
It was originated at the Start of the 20th century in North Frisia in Southern Schleswig. It was created when Danes exhibited the Protest pig and living in the region under ruler were banned from increasing the flag.

The strain has created a sign of the cultural identity because of the red color of it, its white belt plus a touch of a belt resembling the colors of the Flag of Denmark. Read more details about the strain.
