The cows are a strain of cows raised for beef and meat production. It was introduced by the Netherlands in 1880 and was originated in the Holstein Friesian cattle.
The strain was introduced into the areas of the Pampas and dedicated to both meat and milk production. Presently the cows are located in Argentina.
Now they’re located in the provinces of Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Córdoba, and Entre Ríos, in Addition to in little river basins at Salta, Tucumán, Formosa, Catamarca, and Mendoza.
The strain has also been exported into a state where they’re increased mainly for milk production.
They seemed in the National Exhibition at 1890 coordinated by the Rural Society Argentina with substantial amounts of the authorities exporting these.
Even though the breed has been developed as a strain, but recently it’s being utilized as a dairy cow for milk production.
Holando-Argentino cows are moderate-sized creatures with nice skin, nice throat, broad nose, and flat bones.
