The Malvi cows are a strain of zebu cattle in the Malwa plateau in western Madhya Pradesh, in central India. It also Called Malavi Manthani or even Mahadeopuri.
The strain is employed as milk production and a fantastic strain of these cows is low. The breeding tract of this strain comprises Ujjain, Ratlam, Shajapur and Rajgarh areas of Madhya Pradesh.
The strain has grown into various breeds like mild, moderate and heavy in size based on soil requirements.
The Malvi cows breed was analyzed in Agar in the Government Cattle Breeding Farm, at Shajapur district of Madhya Pradesh for over 50 years.
Malvi Cattle Characteristics
The Malvi cows are among the very very beautiful cows strains of India. They are modest in size with deep, short and compact bodies.
They’ve drooping hindquarters along with their spine is right. They have legs and their hooves are both black and powerful . They have along with the sheath is pendulous. Malvi cows have broad and short mind with forehead that is forehead.
